Callum MacSorley
Callum MacSorley is a specialist Lighting & Homeware Designer based on the South Coast in Dorset.
He has exhibited work at some of the largest international design fairs including Salone Del Mobile Milan, Stockholm Lighting Fair, Light + Build Messe Frankfurt, 100% Design London and showcased his work at the prestigious B&B Italia Showroom.
With extensive industry experience dealing with UK & European retailers, Callum has had designs manufactured for customers including Heals, Soho House, John Lewis, Anthropologie, Karlsson, Oliver Bonas, Habitat & Made.
In 2024 Callum made the decision to set up as a freelance designer under the title Callum & MacSorley DESIGN STUDIO. Previously he worked as a Senior Designer for Dar Lighting in Oxfordshire, for over 10 years. Earlier in his career he worked as a designer for Dorset based company, Poole Lighting and freelanced for design outfit, One Foot Taller, in Glasgow Scotland.
Graduating in Furniture Design (Ba Hon's) from Loughborough University in 2005, Callum has always been drawn towards contemporary styling with a nod towards Scandinavian design.

Light and Building : Frankfurt
Exhibited work at the distinguished Frankfurt Light and Building Design Fair on behalf of Poole Lighting. Since making its debut in 2000, Light+Building has made a name for itself as the leading international trade fair for the sector.

Selected to exhibit at the worlds largest, and most prestigious, International Furniture Fair on behalf of the British Council in Milan. The nationwide competition was judged by Tom Dixon, Creative Director at Habitat, Sheridan Coakley, Director of London manufacturer and retailer SCP.
